Welcome to My Blog! 🎉
Hi there! Welcome to Tardirisu’s blog!
This blog was created with the purpose of building my own knowledge framework. Many of my favorite bloggers sincerely encourage people to construct their personal knowledge structures. Some call it a “knowledge network,” while others jokingly refer to it as “threading scattered Chinese ancient copper coins into a string.” I quite like this metaphor—it’s both vivid and fun.
It feels like I, too, once had a room full of “scattered coins.” When I was younger, everything seemed fresh and exciting. The things I encountered stayed with me for a long time, and I would often immerse myself in learning new skills with unrestrained enthusiasm. However, somewhere along the way, curiosity and memory started to fade. Concepts that once felt intuitive, skills that I picked up during fleeting moments of inspiration—over time, many of them vanished from my mind. It’s such a shame.
As I worked on setting up this blog and sorting through my storage, I came across so many things I’d learned, read, and experimented with in the past. It struck me that I’m probably forgetting more than I’m learning now. That realization made me quite embarrassed—it’s time to document things properly! Beyond just recording for myself, sharing these thoughts and learnings with others might be even better. Although I’ve missed the peak of the Internet’s sharing spirit, contributing what I can is a small way of practicing the pirate spirit.
What Will I Be Sharing Here?
The content of this blog might feel a bit “eclectic,” including topics such as:
- Technical Knowledge Sharing: Primarily focused on Computer Science, with potential additions of study notes from relevant courses.
- Books, Movies, and Music Recommendations: I’ll share interesting or entertaining books, films, and music, and might later build a dedicated list or shared folder for them.
- Hobby Archives: This could include sketches and drawings I create (though not all will be publicly shared) and tutorials on figure skating, cooking, or drawing.
- Career Exploration Insights: I plan to document experiences with student jobs, internships, and graduate school life—if I’m fortunate enough to have these opportunities.
The main focus will be on technical knowledge sharing, but I’ll occasionally archive materials related to personal hobbies. Feel free to connect with me and share your thoughts!
PS: The comments section is still under development. Stay tuned!
What I’m Learning Now 🔒
Currently, I’m particularly interested in security and privacy topics. During the Spring 2025 semester, I’m taking COMPISCI 435 (Cryptography) and working on a project implementing cryptographic algorithms based on my textbook on GitHub. As a beginner, I still have a lot to learn.
If you have any interesting topics to discuss or suggestions for my project, feel free to reach out to me through:
- Comments (coming soon—stay tuned!)
- GitHub Issues
